Our History

Apostle and Deacon Kinloch
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised. To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
John 4:23
Pastor Helen R. Kinloch and her husband, Pastoral Partner Flash Kinloch, Sr. co-founded the Ministry of God's Way Healing and Worship Center, Prophetic Intercessory Prayer Ministry and the Helen Kinloch Ministry. Pastor Kinloch has diligently preached the Word of Jesus Christ throughout South Carolina as well as many other states. Her preaching and prophetic gifting has touched countless lives. Hundreds of testimonies bare witness of God's promise to heal, deliver and set the captive free. As she faithfully did the work God called her to, birth was given to Prophetic Intercessory Prayer Ministry as an outreach ministry. In 1988, the Lord spoke to Pastor Kinloch concerning a radio ministry that would come forth at an appointed time. Twelve years later, that radio ministry was launched with singing, preaching and a call-in segment. Heard by thousands weekly, the broadcast became a blessing to the sick and shut-in and many who did not attend regular church services. The listening audience expanded to more than one hundred thousand with countless testimonies of peoples being blessed, healed and delivered. The Holy Spirit later ordained a tape ministry to deliver sermons to those unable to attend church.

In 2000, a group of twenty-five Prophetic Intercessory Prayer Ministry followers began assembling at her home for Bible study, prayer and worship services. Within a short period, the growing crowd evolved into a congregation who later became Prophetic Intercessory Prayer Ministry of Mt. Pleasant, SC in 2001. The ministry moved to its current location in the Hamlin Beach Community of Mt. Pleasant, SC. in 2002. Under the leading of the Holy Spirit, the name was changed to God's Way Healing & Worship Center. This ministry remains faithful and obedient to the charge of the Holy Spirit: Doing Things God's Way. As mandated by God for such a time as this to be a prophetic voice in the kingdom leading the unsaved to Christ and strength to those who were already Christians.
